System design

We recommend to use the system ‘Heating of open areas’, which comfortably prevents the formation of ice. The system operation is simple: when the necessary conditions are reached, the cable heating is switched on, which leads to melting of snow and drainage of melted water from the heating surface (e.g. from the house porch). This prevents the formation of ice.

The ‘Outdoor Area Heating’ cable system is invisible. The heating cable is installed under a decorative covering (e.g. under tiles). When the cable is switched on, the heated surface becomes a heat source.

Enabling the step heating system:

• when melt water forms on the heated surfaces and there is a high probability of its freezing;
• when precipitation in the form of snow falls;
• it is not recommended to switch on the heating system at temperatures below -15ºC, as this usually leads to additional icing, as precipitation is unlikely at -15ºC and below.

Burning cable for heating steps, paths, porches, ramps
