Which one to choose?

Heating mats are more expensive and more convenient: they are ready for installation after purchase due to the mesh on which the cable is fixed. The price of heating mats is 20-50% more expensive.

Heating cable is cheaper than mats, but requires preliminary laying in a "snake".

Advantages of electric underfloor heating

Electric underfloor heating, compared to water underfloor heating, is more affordable in terms of capital investment and does not depend on central heating, it can be turned on at any time.
Installation of electric underfloor heating is easier than water underfloor heating. A layer of tile adhesive or thin screed up to 2 cm is much thinner than when laying water pipes, almost does not raise the floor height. And most importantly, it eliminates pipe breaks, flooding of premises, and damage to other people's property.

Compared to film heated floors, which have increased requirements for the quality of the floor base and do not tolerate heavy loads, electric heated floors can be laid under tiles, porcelain tiles, and any other floor covering when installing a thin screed. Withstands overheating, is "loyal" to installation errors, especially two-wire heating mats and СН-15.
