With sincere wishes of warmth and comfort!
Heating the soil in greenhouses with a cable heating system allows you to warm up the soil for harvesting in early spring. Heating cables are laid only under the beds. The optimal soil temperature at the root level depends on the type of plant and is selected in the range from +15 ° C to +24 ° C (consult an agronomist). To achieve optimal soil temperature, a power of 70-100 iat the same time, it is recommended to use heating sections CH-10, CH-15 or LPG with a built-in thermostat. The power of the heating cable should not exceed 15 W / m, since too high power and, accordingly, high temperature can dry out the root system of plants. To reduce heat loss, it is necessary to use effective thermal insulation with a thickness of at least 5 cm (preferably with a minimum moisture absorption coefficient). To regulate the temperature of the soil, we recommend using a temperature controller with a temperature sensor.
